教学内容：

1.       Learn some new words: wake, shall, hill, seldom, out, need, rest, just, after-school, activity, homework, usually, never, start, quarter, past

2.       Practise some sentences structures: I get up at 6 a.m. every morning. When do you get up? When do you go to school? What do you do after school? What time do you start lessons?

教学过程：

T: What day is it today?

 What date is it today?

  Our school is big and beautiful. Do you like our school?

The teachers are all kind. Do you like them?

  Look, I usually get up at six. (出示句型) How about you? What time do you get up?

When do you get up?

 

(1) T：I usually get up at six. And I seldom get up at half past five.(出示句型)

Look, there is a new word “ seldom”. What is “e” pronounced? What is “o” pronounced? What’s the Chinese meaning? What’s the meaning of this sentence? How to say “我很少上网”?(出示句子，学生试着翻译)

(2) T: Hello,… Do you often play football at the weekends?

   S: ( 略)

   T：I don’t play football at the weekends. I never play football at the weekend.( 出示句型，教学never) How to say “1、 我从不晚起床。2、我从不参加运动会。3、他从不在学校吃午饭。”

A. Who is he? Does he go to school? What does he do every day? Is Eddie hardworking or lazy?

C. Next we are’ going to act the dialogue.

T: But first, let’s look at Picture 1. Here , wake up, what’s the Chinese meaning? How to say “我每天醒得早。”

 “make sb up” means “叫醒某人”。

How to say “请明天6点叫醒我。” 提醒学生不能说成是wake up me。

How to say “Hobo 天天叫醒Eddie。”

T: Next, please look at Picture 2. Is it time for breakfast? Means “Is it time to have breakfast?” (出示It is time for sth. 是做某事的时候了。该做某事了。It is time to do sth.该做某事了。)

How to say “该上课了。该吃午饭了。”

( 出示It’s time for sb. to do sth.   某人该做某事了。)

How to say “我们该跳舞了。”

  T: “need a good rest” means “need to have a good rest”

Please remember: need sth 需要某物; need to do sth 需要做某事

   Now please read these sentences.(出示句子need to sleep； need to do morning exercises)

(4) T：Good. Now please read the dialogue by yourselves.
