1.教学目标:
(1).学生能够会听,会读,会说,会写No eating or drinking, No littering, No parking, No smoking, Danger, Wet floor.
(2).学生能够掌握句型What does it mean? It means...You can/can’t...
3.学生能理解story time
4)让学生初步了解西方国家的公共标志和规则。
2. 教学重难点:
(1).学生能够会听,会读,会说,会写No eating or drinking, No littering, No parking, No smoking, Danger, Wet floor.
(2).学生能够掌握句型What does it mean? It means...You can/can’t...并能在正确情境中使用句型。
3. 教学准备:PPT
4.教学过程:
(1).Free talk: Do you like going to the park/shop/supermarket...? What can you see in it?
(2).Enjoy a song <The signs in the park>
(3).T:We can see many signs in public places.(taech “signs”).
(4).Here I have some pictures, let’s enjoy them.
(5). Signs are everywhere.When we go outside, we can see many signs. My friend Lily has some troubles in her holiday. Look, this is Lily’s car. She parked her car here and then go to the supermarket. In the supermarket, she saw a sign on the floor. Oh, a woman was fall down. What does the sign mean?
Teach : “What does it mean ? It means ...”, the floor is wet.
(6). After she bought things, she came back to her car. She saw a policeman. The policeman show the sign to Lily. But Lily didn’t know the mean. She asked “What does it mean?” Can you help her?
 Teach “no parking”.
(7)Lily had to drive away her car, but her car was broken. So she put this sign behind her car. Can you guess its mean? Teach “danger”
(8)What a day! Lily kowns that the signs are very impotant. She surfed the Internet to know more about signs. Let’s learn with Nancy.
 Teach other three signs. Teach signs one by one.Practice the sentence structures. (No eating or drinking, No littering, No smoking)
(9)Lily see many signs, Helen is too. Now she is at shopping centre. Please watch the cartoons and order the pictures.
(10) Look at the pictures first. Learn: restaurant, shopping centre.
(11) Watch and order.
(12) Fast reading. Read and choose.
(13) Read and answer the questions. Teach: go in; take into.
(14) Read after the tape.
(15) Read in roles.
(16) Finish the table.
(17) Retell the story according to the table.
(18) We must follow the public signs.
(19)教师介绍英国和美国的一些交通标志和公共标志,让学生了解不同国家的不同规则。
(20) Homework:
1 听磁带,读课文五遍。
2 寻找生活中其他的公共标志,并学会用英语表达他们的意思,并和你的同桌做一张标志卡。
